Blaze Trailer 5.45 Tipp Had 4 of these behind him at Cork last time out and it was the first bit of form its shown and a futher improvement is expected again tonight its not a great race and a lot of these look very moderate so even if it runs to its last bit of form it should finish in the first 4 and with a bit of improvement could win it.

Sander Camillo deserves to be odds on today for what she has done but id still take her on. With 2 weeks to go to the Guineas i dont think she'll be fully wound up yet, she'll probably run away from these but if it did come down to a battle i dont think Dettori will be to hard on her. So a better betting proposition is Kaseema e.w. She looked very impressive winning at Yarmouth and tho only 7th in The Rockfel ran very well, Shes got a massive job to try and beat the Fav but if theirs any chink in Sanders armour Kaseema could be the one to take advantage

Im offf tonight so i can sort out the blog and do it right up for tomorrow. Only 2 bets today De Soto is due a big one and today is the day i think the connections collect its a very tough race but everythings in its favour, while over at Folkstone this is more hope then anything but a horse of Paul Blockley's is been well backed and its only a moderate 6 runner Maiden and i think it would be foolish not to row in. As i said its more in hope then anything but when the moneys down on any runner from this yard they usually collect

Easter Sunday

Fairyhouse today looks a very trappy card i think Callian Allain is a certainty....if it stands up but i wouldnt back her at that price. Louanous and Five To Three all look good things but i'll not be backing them either tho a treble i suppose would yield a nice return but i like a bit of value tho ive been reminded enough times lately ''you cant eat value'' , so for the bit of value i aint touching the Jumps in Ireland or England but going to the 3.50 Mussleburgh for it, La Esterella has been screaming out for a longer distance and today he gets it over a mile six. Tho its only won at a mile one Furlong its latest Races suggest's it needs futher then that, a staying on 2nd last time at Wolver and a staying on 6th at 1mile 2 the last time he ran on turf . T.P rides it and it wont take a lot of winning but the luck im in lately it'll take an awful lot of winning..

5ts e.w. La Esterella 12 and 3.5 for a place on BETFAIR.

Saturdays Racing

Harry Rogers has 3 horses in the last race(5.35 Leop) i like Harry and so does everyone in Irish Racing especially the Jockeys. The Jocks have great respect for him and apart from Aiden O' Brien theres not too many trainers that would have 3 horses in a race with M.J. Kinane, J.P.Murtagh and Willie Supple as his three riders thats how much respect hes got so that said i see a gamble on Kinanes mount Mooretown Lady but been by Montjeu i think its too short of distance for that one. Skerries has won 5 races and four of them has been in September in various years and once in June so id imagine it needs a few races under its belt before we see the best of it. So that leaves Regaleya whos been ridden by stable Jockey Willie Supple, its having its first run for Harry after winning at this meeting last year for Ger Lyons it ran a big race in its first H'CAP at Galway but been a C/D Winner its got a big life in this race theonly thing is its high up in the weights but it should be classy enough to carry the 9-3 she was just pipped at the post at Gowran at the backend of last season after leading near the line she was up 7 lb for her Lepoardstown win however the only drawback is its nearly a year since it ran but Harry can get one ready first time up so fitness wont be a worry..
5pts e.w. Regaleya 5.35 Betfair are still paying 4 places ...the bookies only 3. so im backing it on Betfair.

Fairyhouse Grand National

I'll update the Blog later this evening, i fancy a couple of horses at Leopardstown tomorrow...

I fancied a horse at a big price to run a big race at Fairyhouse but i see it aint in the race why i dont know coz the owners told me it was definitely running but i'll be talking to them tomorrow and find out why its not, so its back to plan B and i think the horse with the biggest chance of finishing in the first 4 is a horse who ran a stormer at Cheltenham and after been nearly put out off the race at the first fence it ran a stormer to finish 2nd its one of my favorite horses and again if he jumps he wont be out of the first 4 tho i think it'll win it. Only one of twelve thats in the handicap proper and getting weight from nine of that dozen and also thrown in at 10Stone 4Lbs WHYSO MAYO must have a massive chance of landing the National, never out of the first 4 in any race it completed (i think hes ran 23 times altogether and fallen 4 times & u/r once.
Can you beleve in the first 4 races in Points it ran it fell three times then it won its next four on the bounce before finishing 2nd again after bad mistakes, Its a machine with a massive engine but its one fault lies in its jumping if it gets a clear round without making a bad mistake and fallen or unseating we will be collecting. Its got very good form and as i say getting weight from nearly all the top horses in it. I think it'll win it.

5pts e.w WHYSO MAYO 14/1 Corals (Irish Grand National)

Sundays Racing

I was going to put up Another Biffo in the Hunter Chase 5.25 Downpatrick but a Horse in the same Race has caught my eye SAFTEY RECUE. I remember watching it in a race at Lepoardstown against WHYSOMAYO and thinking that doesn't look very busy and i see now where they were took in in front of the Steward's that day and fined under the non-triers rule. It's ran since and it was brought down, so today its on a 500 mile round trip and if you wait too see if theirs any money for it have a few quid on e.w. yourself, if not and your looking to have a bet have a few quid e.w. Another Biffo.

Right now the serious stuff. A horse that was absolutely cruising the last day and fell when looking the likey winner at the Pigeons Point To Point was Wall Wise 5.50 DownPatrick . Today it has no obstacles to obstruct it because its running in the Bumper and ive seen most of the Favorites run and i can safely say this is the best by far and if its a true run race this will be hard to beat.

5pts e.w. Wall Wise 8/1 William Hill.

Ive been told Holbien in the 3.25 Curragh wont be out of the First 3.

Sorry about the delay but my computer is giving me alot of gip lately...Hopefully it'll sort itself out soon.
NOTRE PERE 3.00Navan, ive been told is been tippedfor the top. It gets its first real test today and its a very tough one at that, a 2 mile Maiden winner here and a well beaten 5th at Naas over 2mile 4fur, were the 4th has since won its got a very good horse in almitov to beat today but ive been told the longer the better for Notre Pere and if it stands up it wont be out of the first 3.
Again sorry for the delay but hopefully it was worth it.

Iceni Warrior 4.00 Soutwell was beaten a 1/2 Lenght by Smoothie at level weights last time out, today Iceni gets a 5 lb pull in the weights with Smoothie and it should be enough to finish in front of it. It a poor tough races wihich i think if you ran 6 times you would have 6 different winners but im taking a chance that it'll be Iceni Warriors day.

Thursdays Racing

Looks the toughest day of the week so far but im sure we''ll pick up something.
A horse ive been waiting for all season to appear over this distance is BALLYTRIM 4.40, its a class horse with a Champion Bumper under his belt. They say hes one paced but maybe thats so but no ones seen him over 4 mile so hopefully hes got a finish kick over this distance as i say its tough today but if Ballytrim stands up it wont be out of the first 4.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another top class horse with a good e.w. squeak is HI CLOY 2.35 who had a slight setback before this race last year before finishing 14 lenghts behind Fondmort. I was at one of them Cheltenham Previews where Hourigan said he'd be very dissapointed if HI CLOY didn't finish in the first 3 but as i said about 2 weeks before Cheltenham he had a slight setback and in the race was held up too far off the pace, he showed his true colours a few weeks later winning a big race at Aintree and if its kept up nearer the pace today it'll have a big shout.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5pts e.w. Ballytrim 4.40 27 to win 7 to place BETFAIR
5pts e,w Hi Cloy 4.00 22 to win 4.7 to place BETFAIR

Wednesday's Racing

There wont be a dry eye in the house if Baron De Feypo wins today and win he well could. The Grounds right the tracks right and the forms right a very good 2nd to WHERESBEN (who won again the weekend) last time out tho the two-and-a-half-mile contest had a handful of useful staying chasers in the field, including Pearly Jack, Livingstonebramble, Silver Birch and Black Apalachi. It was a thrilling finish in all with the 7lb amateur Fahey managed to hold off the determined challenge of Baron De Feypo by half a length
Pearly Jack finished in 3rd. Former Welsh National winner Silver Birch was 4th and it ran a big race yesterday over futher. Brady's nobodys fool and i know for a fact a lot of shrewd men from Monaghan have been backing this this past few days and im rowing in with them.

5pts e.w. Baron De Feypo 33 to win 7.8 to place BETFAIR

Im also backing my old pal DARBY WALL 4.00 e.w and Cailin Aliann in the 2.00 if she stands up it wont be out of the first 3.

SO ITS
5pt e.w Berings Gift 5.20 Cheltenham 14.5 to win 7.8 place BETFAIR
5pts e.w. BARON DE FEYPO 4.00 CHELTENHAM 33 to win 7.8 to place BETFAIR

1pt e.w. DARBY WALL 4.40 CHELTENHAM 13 to win 3.5 to place BETFAIR

Tuesdays Racing Cheltenham Day 1

At long last its here and thank god at that coz some of the press coverage was getting to a vomit inducing level. Anyway here goes lets try and get off to a flyer .
2.35 Cheltenham. TIDAL FURY is the dark horse of the race hes been mopping up small races enroute to Cheltenham but hes beeen very impressive doing it, hes won 2 group races over Hurdles in France beaten the highly rated Kasbah Bliss easily in one of them. Hes took to fences like a Duck to water only blotting his copy book when clouting the 4th last against Bueno Vista and never in the race after that it bounced back and won twice more after that its had a 6 week break now going into today and should be fresh enough to do itself justice,

3pts e.w. Tidal Fury 2.35.. 26 to back on BETFAIR 5.4 to place

Saturdays Racing

Cornhill Lad 4.45 Fairyhouse has been very frustrating for his connections twice been gambled on and both times failing to deliver, his run two races back was his best run so far beaten a 1/2 lenght by Stoneraker(who runs in the Imperial Cup at Sandown) i thought he was kept tooo far off the pace that day but his subsequent run at Punchestown proved me wrong when he was nearer the pace and still failed. In that race he had todays Favorite(Blanchfield) 15lenghts behind and giving it 12lb today its only 3 lb so on paper he should beat Blanchfield even futher but sadly races arent ran on paper and Blanchfield improved even futher when winning a 2m 4 fur race at Navan last week But i still think theres a race in Cornhill Lad and i think its today.

5pts E.W. Cornhill Lad 4.45 Fairyhouse 4/1

THURSDAYS RACING

4.25 Thurles Alpha Jets. I kept an eye on this one in the hope it would go over futher then 2miles, today it goes over 2mile 2 furlongs.
The last day it ran it was held up well out the back and started making up ground to finish a moderate fifth but showing it needed just a bit extra distance, the time before that it ran over 2mile 4 and got tired inside the last 2 furlongs so todays distance should be just spot on for it to run a big race carrying 10-12 and young Kiely claiming 5lbs its well in and its not a very strong race todays a 72-102 rated h'cap the last day was a 74- 109 rated h'cap so if it runs to form it shouldn't be out of the first4 ...the price is a bit shorter then i thought but if it wins we'll not worry about that.

I have been told Bering Express is suppose to be home and Hosed all the fancy prices are gone but theres still 11/1 on betfair, do with it as you may. . . .
Im going to wait till the day to have a bet because of the weather so i'll put it up as a bet then if alls well.
In the same race Edgeover whom i was putting up at 100/1 but was taking out has been re-entered after his satisfying effort on Saturday but it looks like he needs the ground to dry out a bit but i'll back it with a bookies at 50/1 thats giving NR-Money Back.

The bumper horse i was hoping would run at Cheltenham was EDGEOVER5.15 Newbury but sure if it wins today i'll be happy enough and maybe it'll go to Aintree or Punchestown after, No Full 3.15 Newburyran a stinker the last time and was found to have a problem behind his throat preventing it breathing properly but its back fit and at worst i make it a 8/1 shot but the genorus bookies are going 12s so they have to be hit

Thursday's Racing 1st March.

Very tough Racing at Limerick and i dont believe in backing a horse unless its ran or ive got very good info that the horse is doing wonders at home but im going to change all that tomorrow. Im going to back a horse ive never seen, heard about or read about, a first time out in a bumper race. The Name of the Mare is Hollyoscar in the 5.35 Limerick.
The reason why im backing is (and by the way all im having is a point e.w with a view to having a bigger bet on the horse in the near future) is its relatives, shes Half sister's too Dakyns Boy who won 3 Bumpers including the Ballyhack Champion Bumper at Fairyhouse, Cullenagh Native who won 2 bumpers at Cork & Tippeary including beating Anxious Moments 10 lenghts, Hollys Pride who was placed in 3 bumpers(btn a sh hd in one of them), Castle Court who was placed in 2 Bumpers and 4th and 5th in its other 2, Give it Holly who only ran twice finishing 3rd in his first Bumper at Leopardstown(Bob What finished 2l behind in 4th) and winning its other at Leopardstown. So you can see why im gonna have a little flutter on it. I may be a million miles out but i think it'll be in the 1st 3

1pt e.w. Hollyoscar 5.35 Limerick.

Wednesday's Racing

Another disastrous month the horse just ran out of a place, tho i think he made too much use of the horse too early but saying that he should have been still good enough to nick a place. Ok onwards and upwards try and salvage something for Cheltenham. The Bumper Horse for Cheltenham is not running.(just my fecking luck)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DownPatrick today: Hunter Chase 4.40 If Ferney's Well jumps around he'll win it in a hack canter the rest are a moderate very moderate bunch if the ground had been a bt firmer i'd have giving Red Setter a big shout but it wont like todays going.

No bet today.

Febuary 27th

Capatilise 5.00 Lingfield was very unlucky 2 weeks ago when falling at the last at Musselburgh switches back to the Flat at Lingfield. Hes been beateing in 2 photo finishes in his last 3 starts and beaten only 4 lenghts in his other race at Wolverhampton.Hes only a 4 year year old so he'll be still improving and is in on a lightweight getting nearly a stone off his market rivals, a good Apprentice on it as well Jerry O'Dwyer whos rode 3 thirds in his last 4 rides hopefully can give us a winner today.
With its style off running if you have a Betfair Account you are better off just backing the place and waiting till their off to back the win because he'll go bigger in running, He'll be dropped out the back and wont start his run till about 4 out
.

5pts e.w. Capatilise 5/1 Generally... 6.6 to win 2.2 to place BETFAIR

ANTE-POST RACING

This day next month we'll know the majority of the big race winners and hopefully everyones in front going into Friday, well here goes heres my tupence worth.

The Gold Cup Kauto Star is a class horse that there is no doubt about, but hes started to get into the habit of thinking hes invinceble jumping fences hes got it into his head now that he can plough thru fences and stay standing, Cheltenham will have no mercy for horses like that one mistake and hell be gone, thats why its going to be the safe option for me with a horse whos been around Cheltenham a few time and has never falling in his career plus hes got the advantage of been a Gold Cup winner. War Of Attrition hasnt been doing this season what he is capable of doing and thats beating good Horses easy, tho i think the last day against The Listener with the ground totally against him Conor seem not too hard on WOA and he still was staying on. At the moment the ground is completly against him but with it bound to start drying out the conditions will play into his hands bigtime. He is a Gold Cup winner and wether or not Kauto Star is standing or not he'll not beat WOA up the hill.

5pts e.w War Of Attrition 5/1

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Champion Hurdle
My banker of the Meeting isn't preforming atall atall but i still haven't giving up hope on Iktitaf, N.Meade said the horse was ill in the AIG and that'll do for me he'll get one more chance but theres a horse in it whom i know his former trainer said would be a better hurdler then the previous Champion Hurdle he trained. Michael Stoute says that Sublimity will be a Champion Hurdle winner wether this year or not is open to debate but whatever he does he'll improve. You can only be but impressed the way he travelled on the bit at navan and he was coming back after a lay-off, granted he didnt beat much but it was the way he quickened like a 5 furlong sprinter after the last that was astonishing.
Hes in against the big boys now but all reports are saying this horse has improved a stone since Navan and even Stoute was saying last week this horse can and will be the real deal. Hopefully he can run a big race and shows how good he can be. It'll be his current trainer John G Carrs biggest day but if hes placed i hope its behind Iktitaf whom beat Sublimity 12 lenghts at Punchestown.
3 pts e.w Iktitaf 18/1 W.H.
1pt e.w Sublimity 25/1 W.H.

Wednesday's Racing

Just having two wee bets today, i'll update the blog this evening with the Ante-Post bets.

Just had a whisper for 2 Horses
South Bronx 4.00 Muss and Sapient 2.55 Fairyhouse
I'm having a point e.w. on each solely on the fact i couldnt hit a barn door with a cannon ball at the mo and the person who give me these 2 is on a roll.......tho after tipping me them his rolls about to end ..
1pt e.w South Bronx 4.00 Mussle 33/1
1pt e.w Sapient 6/1

I'll have all the Ante-post bets up tonight.
Cheltenham and Aintree

Saturdays Racing

Here we go full belt into Cheltenham, only a couple of weeks to the start of the flat season i think, or maybe its started already coz the powers to be keep changing when it offically starts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyone Interested in having a bet in The Hunter Chase @ Leopardstown should visit this link first http://www.irish-point-to-point.com/news.asp?key=3523
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A friend of ours who got us out of trouble when winning at 16/1 when having his first race in almost 2 years can do the buisness again tomorrow at 16/1 Appleaday is going to be a top class Chaser there is no doubt about that but in the meantime its on the flat he runs in the Bumper tomorrow at Chepstow if it was any other track i'd be saying we'll have a wee point e.w. but because its a proper galloping track and Appleaday has got speed to go with toughness it should suit him down to the ground. Paul Webbers horses aint been firing right lately but Benny can get him back to winning ways, tomorrows Race is as good as heat you will find before Cheltenham all the top stables are represented. Dickie Johnson replaces Johnny Kingston on the horse and i think the more rain the better, if he can stay with them early he'll have the pace to finish. The Bumper he won the 2nd and 3rd have come out and ran very well since without winning. Tomorrows ground wont be for weaklings and Appleaday has a big big shout of winning or been placed at worst.

5pts e.w. Appleaday will be around 16/1

THURSDAYS RACING

A poor January for the Ash camp. New Month and hopefully get into Profit quickly for 2007. Racing in Ireland is dire today but sure something's gotta win.
Oxpow Lakes 3.45 Thurles had the 3rd fav in todays race Brouge Lane 15 lenghts behind the last day the met so i cant see any reasons for a turn around in form there. Oxpow is Getting 15lb off the fav and in the softish ground thats a big weight to give away to a horse who ran a smashing race in his first Handicap against Conem . Its not a great field and surely he cant be out of the First four, I think its an e.w. steal at 6/1

5pts e.w Oxpow Lake 6/1 William Hill's,Bet365

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A horse that a lot of people left there cash behind on the last day(why he was so heavily back is beyond me coz he was having his first run back in over 90 days) has a chance to recoup there loss today at Southwell. Nevinstown missed the break and ran out wide turning in but today if Tom can get him to break and keep him up with the first 5 he'll enjoy a better run turning in and it has a finishing kick to keep it in the first 3 at the line.
5pts e.w Nevinstown 2.50 Soutwell 7/1 Ladbrokes

Fridays Racing

Very dissapointing run from Jigalo never in the race just staying on when the race was over, not the jockeys fault its just the horse downed tools from an early stage, you would have needed a crystal Ball to name any of the first 4 in the race,
Kymandjen ran too good of a race with the leaders jumping the last, if it had a prep run it would have won but i wouldnt back it next time out either cos i think its been set up for a race in April. My apologies to anyone thats been following me this past month its been downhill most of the way but it will turn....... i know it will.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I keep promising you an Ante-Post bet for Cheltenham, well i will tell ye .....in a couple of weeks......the horse should be around the 100/1 - 200/1 mark, i see hes in the Ante-Post market on Betfair but i haven't made any enquires on what price he is in the shops, coz as soon as you go in and even ask about a horse Ante-post they will slash the price. The horse in question has never set foot on a racetrack but hes so far forward in training that he could go there with just the one run, its not entered for any race in the next couple of weeks but he is entered in the £50,000 Doncaster Spring sales Bumper at Newbury on March 3rd. If hes anything like the horse im getting reports about were gonna be rich come the end of Cheltenham , i could bullsh!t ye and say i cant give ye the name of the horse to protect the price for the owners .....now that would be bull cos i dont know the owners... they mightn't even gamble, its just that if i give you the name and you back it and its a non-runner you will lose whereas in a couple of weeks time nearly all the big firms will be betting non runner-no bet at Cheltenham so thats why i'll not tell ye to later on, i'll tell you it on the morning its due to run in its first race, i'll put the message up at 9.30am so as you'll have plenty of time to make it too the bookies or even bet it on Betfair, you dont need alot to make a lot if its around 100/1 i'll be having EURO 50;00 e.w on it and as you know that is a big bet for me. so hopefully all going well ye can get a couple of Grand out of Cheltenham.

Thursdays Racing

Jigalo 2.15 Gowran Park is the nap today, a winner on soft and good to soft and coming on the back of a very good 2nd to Luke Victor a couple of weeks after been brought down at Punchestown in November. Its a tough race but Jigalo is in on 10st-11lb a light enough weight and its an improving horse, if it stands up it wont be out of the first 4.
5pts e.w Jigalo 2.15 Gowran 4/1 if you can get it with Betfred & Sporting Exchange and its 7/2 everywhere else.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A long long shot in the Thyestes Chase....
Kymandjen 2.45 Gowran was beating a sht hd 2 years ago in this race by Numbersixvalverde and last year was only 13/2 for the race but Pulled Up tho Paul Nolan said before the race that Kymandjens preparation had not gone according to plan.
So hopefully if alls gone well this time with his preparation he might be good enough still to sneak a place at a big price
1pt e.w. Kymandjen 25/1 generally

TUESDAY 21/01/07

I aint forgotten ye im just taking it easy at the mo i'll be having a max bet on Thursday, so the next message will be on thursday around 10.30-11.00am

Saturday, January 13, 2007

Sundays Racing

The Pierse Hurdle at Lepoardstown is our next max bet, i know i could have picked alot easier races but theres a horse sitting down near the bottom of the H'cap thats just too good to miss.
Dolphin Bay whom on the flat was beaten by top class horses such as a 2nd beaten 3/4s of a length by Al Eile at Navan and a 4 length 4th to Jazz Messenger over a mile and a half at Naas. Dolphin has won on soft to heavy over hurdles at Punchestown over 2miles but its last run which is of most interest beaten a length and a half by View Mount Prince at level weights. Dolphin bay was running off 8lb higher following his win at Punchestown but in the Pierse hes 7lb better off with View Mount Prince and considering View Mount is only around 8/1 And Dolphin is 20/1 i thing the value is definitely in Dolphin Bay and a promising young jockey A.B.Joyce takes the mount. The reason im putting it up early is because im hoping some of ye have Paddy Power Accounts coz there paying 5 places and i think it'll run a big race so every place will count but hopefully it'll win for a very nice payday. If i fancy anything else i'll put it up in the forum on Sunday.
5pts e.w Dolphin Bay 20/1 Paddy Powers

Thursdays Racing

Amazing innit i wait all week for an Irish Meeting and end up having a nap running in Hereford.
I was on Pressgang last year at 150 Ante-post for the bumper at Cheltenham and only Hairy Molly's head stopped me from having my biggest payday ever on the nags, it only ran twice and it was on its first run that i spotted it that it had a bit of talent and amazingly it was on this date last year when i first seen him 11/1/06 and it could be Deja Vu with a stable mate of Pressgang. Fermat 4.00Hereford was thought as highly as Pressgang he was on target for a few bumpers early on in the season but had a setback he damaged his shins and a large splint so didnt see the racetrack till december at Wincanton where it took him an age to twig what he was there for he was well behind turning in and was staying on hand over fist and with an extra half furlong and the ground heavier it should play right into his hands if hes come on anyway atall from his Huntingdon race he'll be very hard to beat.

5pts e.w. Fermat 4.00 Hereford 9/2.

Saturday's racing

Foxhall Beauty 2.05 Cork is a lot better then her form shows, She's been well backed in her last 2 bumper races but failed to deliver been by Broken Hearted they come on to themself's over obstacles , its a moderate race Cobham is favorite but i think hes had alot of racing this season hes got the beating of Monocereos, Guiding Dream has a Squeak on its 2nd to CoolCashin but i think the best improver in the race will be Foxhall Beauty

Thursdays racing

What a disaster that was to the start of the year, dont know why i get involved in the bandit racing, stick to what i know a little about the Irish Racing or the Jumps in England.....No matter things can only get better ............hopefully its onwards and upwards from here on.
Im gonna give one very quickly i had a small word for this one this morning but i aint going in to big, just a small e.w. intrest.
12.55 DesKelly Interiors, has a small e.w chance in this race it looks like one of those races were you to run it 6 times you'd have 6 different results. Tony Martin & Charlie Swan are represented in it and if the moneys down on either you'd have to follow it, Dessie Hughes is going for his 10th winner in the last 10 Irish Racing Days, its a very tricky race but Ados horse is quietly fancied to at least sneak a place.

WEDNESDAYS RACING

2007 and i thnk we'll start afresh i was gonna start a new blog but i cant be asked so we'll stay on with this one and start the year on a 0-00 figure.
So all the best to everyone whos following me and remember the scale is
5pts e.w is a Nap
3pts e.w is a shouldnt be out of the first 3
1pt e.w is it could be in the 1st 3 at a price
I try not too tip anything under 5/1 but if i do put anything up around or under 5/2 go and get a mortage out coz then were going for the jugular.

I'll try and put up a nice e.w. yankee at the weekend for Cheltenham but im waiting on word of 2 of the horses before i put them up i dont want us losing our money on horses that aint even gonna run.
So the best of luck to everyone in 2007 whatever ye may do......

ASH HIGHT PUNTER
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Im going for an e.w double, its an e.w double with the same jockey riding both horse's at 2 different meetings and both horses ran in the same race last time out.
Tom Queally rides Almizan 12.10Kempton who was beaten in a class 4 race last time out at Kempton by Salute, todays race is a class 5 and its a moderate race at that, if he runs his race Almizan cant be out off the 1st 3
Tom then heads for leafy Lingfield to ride Turn 'N Burn 3.15 who finished 2 lghts behind Allmizan but it was running well up to then always been there or there abouts at the finishes of its races but not been able to get its head in front but today there trying blinkers on it for the first time and if it has a positive effect then Turn 'N Burn wont be out of the 1st 3 either so we'll have a small e.w. double and 2 singles to start the year off on hopefully a winning note.
3pts e.w Almizan 12.10 Kempton
3pts e.w Turn 'N Burn 3.15 Lingfield

Boxing Day

My last post of the year so hopefully its a sucessful one. Ive already tipped up Be Telling on the Forum and i do fancy it i dont think it'll be out of the first 3 but my last max of the year is at Towcester in the 12.40. Ask The Umpire whos last 2 races was an 79l & 40l plus beatings but hes a differnt kettle of fish around Towcester, his last 3 wins were around here and his 2nd at Towcester to Carnt Spell on the 19th of Nov can be turned around since he was giving 19lb for a 5 lenght beating. Today Ask The umpire is only giving Carnt Spell 8lb. His last race he won was off 104 in May today hes running off 76 so hes come down along way but hes back home on the track he loves and if he stays on his feet he'll not be out of the 1st 3.

Friday 22th Dec

What a nice winner yesterday, an apple a day keeps the debt collectors away and it was a lovely price at 16/1 you dont have to put much on to get a handsome profit, beats backing those odds on shots any day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry for blocking the messages folks but i dont mind been criticised but been made out to be a liar with no foundation is slanderous and i will not tolerate that. I have never hidden any facts from anyone about any of my blogs and thats 2 blogs in all (the post on Nov 1st will be testimony for that) this is a free service i provide i have not charged anyone for it if anyone of ye lost thru it well you aint been using the staking plan i provide with the tips but i am not here to put anyone away its of no benifit to me. i might be many a thing but a liar i aint.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finishing off the old year with a 16/1 winner we couldnt ask for a nicer way to go.Thats it folks till the New Year , i will be back in early January, the 10th i think im back(but do yourself a favour and look in everyday cos you never know when i'll fancy one and when im near a Computer to put one up) with a nice Ante-Post yankee for Cheltenham & Aintree plus the Hunter Chases will be in full swing (and thats were i get my bread and butter from) so hopefully we will get plenty of winners to load up the Amunition for the Festival Meetings in England & Ireland over the spring. So again i Wish you all a very Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year.

If you wanna make cash ......follow ash.

Thursday's Racing

Sadly the horse i was gonna back is a non-runner but theres a horse in it i like that can sneak a place if its fit and thats Appleaday whos back after 638 days from running in a bumper. He had one run at Chepstow in where the ground was too soft and he stayed on well. He'll have grown up a lot since that and he wasnt unfancied either that day, its a bit better ground today on the good side of soft . Its a very tough bumper but i think its worth 1 point e.w. Whatever happens today it'll improve and its one to keep an eye on.

1point e.w. Appeladay

Tuesday

Sorry for not updating the blog folk's and we missed a couple of auld favorites but im sure ye had something small on on Patsy Hall and Spotthedifference.
Tiz the time of the year to get the christmas money tho i already got that for ye with Dont Be Biting at Thurles at the end of November but i think we might be able to get a few more extra quid for xmas at Ludlow on Thursday 21st.
I was gonna call a halt to the blog at the end of the year and go back to putting up horses on the Betfair Forum but with the amount of A***holes on the Forum posting now i think i'll stick to the blog.
So keep the powder dry till Thursday and i'll try to get us some good spending money for xmas with a maximum bet.

WEDNESDAY'S RACING

Not a great days racing at Downpatrick but no matter a winner at Downpatrick is just as good as a winner at Royal Ascot when your getting paid out, hopefully we will be collecting today.
I fancy Spartan Warrior in the first race the 12.30 to be in the first 3. It looks a very poor race and the ex-pointer can prove too strong for most of these at the finish. It was running on strongly at the finish of a 3mile Pt To Pt at sligo to finish an 11 lenght 6th to Noel Meades Clarnazar (who runs in the Bumper) and it been its first race it'll come on alot for it. The main danger is Winning Counsel but its had enough opportunitys to get its head in front and i think Spartan Warrior is the one to take its chance if Wise Counsel fails to win again.

5pts e.w. if 4/1 or over......... 5pts win if 7/2 or under SPARTAN WARRIOR 12.30 Downpatrick

Thursdays Racing

TYONE LEGEND 1.05 Clonmel Hacked home in a 3 mile Point To Point at Templemore it wasnt bad considering it was her first time out and its time was only 6 seconds outside of top class pointer Artic Copper who has won 8 Point to Points since . Tyone Legend then ran a couple of fine bumpers also winning one and an excellent 3rd to Female over a too short of distance in her first race over hurdles. The step up to an extra 4 furlongs at Clonmel is ideal for her plus the ground should be no problem and i cant see her out of the first 3

Im sticking with my original choice because i cant see anything to change my mind the only different thing is its price i put it up at 8s originaly but now i see its 14s anyway the price aint gonna put me off, i also fancy a horse in the 3.05.
An uncharatistic mistake by Gazzas Girl at the seventh in Clonmel put her out of the race early but it seems Cailin Alainn has a vodoo over her. By right, on form Cailinn should finish ahead of her but im a great believer of Horses for Courses and Gazzas been around Fairyhouse now 4 times (winning Twice, 2nd once & unplaced) this year, even tho shes been well beat by Cailin in that race she was unplacedin but that was coming on the back of a long season for Gazza she'll be a much fresher horse now and both her and Cailin will give the Geldings a run for their money with i think Gazza coming out on top.
In the 3.35 i fancy Eddie O' Grady's Tranquil Sea, It won its only Point To Point at Bennetsbridge very comfortably and the heavy ground will play into its hands it has a fine turn of foot which will be no problem

Nation State 3.10
Has had two races this past couple of month one on the flat and one over Hurdles the flat he was beaten 135 lenghts but over the jumps he was only beaten 10 and a 1/2 lenghts by Taralac which was a good run for his first run over hurdles since finishing 3rd at Cheltenham to Dariboun were he ran on very well in ground that would have been very lively for him(hes got excellent form on Heavy and very soft in france on the flat) hes got the cheekpiece's back on him after been left off at Ascot so his mind mighn't have been on the job but with ruby on him i think he'll have improve alot since and looks to have the race for his taking.

Dont Be Biting 12.45 ran really well in his first race back and is well fancied to do the buisness today Ballytrim is the obvious danger but i think Dont be Biting will be too speedy for it, the grounds gone against Rights Of Man and a clear round for Dont Be Biting and he wins it.

Thursdays Racing

I must be losing the plot, I think THETIMEISRIGHT 3.45 THURLES is a penalty kick to be in the first 3 tho whoever writes for the R.P. says about it has been placed on both outings tho this looks more competitve . He was beat 6 lenghts by what i think is one of the best bumper horses in europe COOLCASHIN. Coolcashin then went on to beat 3 previous bumper winners 10l- 9l-24l at Galway so how he can say todays race is more competitve i dont know maybe he's right but im willing to bet 5pts e.w. im right.

Thursdays Racing.

Tough Card at Clonmel today but nothing really sticks out and i aint going down that road of tipping a horse every day just for the sake of it but if i did have a gun put to my head i would have a place bet on Buck Breeze 1.25 Clonmel it realy looks between Meades and O'Briens horse's but Buck's Breeze will be placed hes around 1.6 1.7 at the mo but i dont back odds on so i wont be availing of it.

No Bet.

Wednesday' s Racing

Its absolutley belting down here(im about 40 mile from Downpatrick) since 1am and doesn't look like relenting at the mo, so id say the ground will be heavy at DP.
Kopoosha 2.45 is from a stable whos slowly getting back into form, Always runs well here having been placed 3 times at DP. But with the rain and going, going to change its gonna turn into a slog which i think will suit Kopoosha well. Tony Martin has the short priced fav in the race but i wouldnt be too keen to take a short Price on any AJ Martin horse . Arigna with A.P.McCoy has only won a Hurdle race on Gd-To Firm so the ground wont suit that i dont think. Tarn Ridge is giving an awful lot of weight all round and the rest look like auld plodders, so its gonna be Kopoosha to sneak a place and could even win.

3 pts e.w. Kopooshoa 2.45 10/1 everywhere.

Tuesdays Racing

I looked at the R.P. and seen 7/1 quoted and i thought to meself ''LUBBY JUBBLY'' but i looked at Betfair and seen 3/1 which is more the price but if your quick enough to get 4s on Calculaite 3.30 Fake take it, if not its generally 7/2 wont be out of the 1st 3 there not a great lot and this is a lot classier then this mob. fill yer boots.

5pts e.w Caliculaite 3.30 4s or 7/2.

Fridays Racing

No Irish Racing today but the next best think to it Cheltenham is on.
Darby Wall 1.20 Course and distance winner at Cheltenham and going well last time out when falling can take it, it looks a tough race on paper but there running on grass and if he stands up he'll win it.
5pts e.w. Darby Wall 1.20 6/1.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spotthedifference 3.05 Needs absolutley no write up. I hope he win's. A watching brief but dont be suprised if Buailtes and Fada is placed at a big price tho whatever happens keep punchestown in April in mind for this horse.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ive had 5pts e.w. Tamiranbleu in the Paddy Power at 14s.
I'll be back Tuesday have a nice weekend.

Thursday's Racing

Thurles today, one interesting runner Glacial Demeanour 2.45 there is more of a write up on the Irish Point to Point Site but i had this in mind for a while now, well ever since they backed him for pound shillings and pences oh and euros as if defeat was out of the question at Killarney in may from an opening 5s to 9/4 but made a few mistakes along the way and finised 8th on good to firm but if you go back too early last year hes got a nice bit of form he won 2 pt-to-pts beating one of Irelands best pointers Charlie Lenihan(who has won his last 6 Points) who went on to beat Whysomayo(who won the Hunter Chase at Cheltenham) a head with Bothar Na(who won the Kerry National in September) a futher 20 lengths behind at Cork in a Hunter Chase last season. So you can see hes got alot of good form tied in around him. The off putting thing is hes a quirky character but hopefully the new surroundings can rejuvanate him

1pt e.w Glacial Demeanour 245Thurles 14/1

A small stake required cos the horse is a big price but its well fancied to be in the 1st 3 the horses finshed 9th in a hot Bumper at Gowran and is expected to improve futher still today.

Fridays Racing

Cracking Racing at Down Royal today,
Patsy Hall 3.05 Down Royal looks a good value e.w. bet, ignore his last run he was having his first race back after a 6 month break he has the beating of Mac Three on his run at Fairyh'se in which he also beat Beef Or Salmon tho that was over hdl's but if he takes to fences he wont be out of the 1st 4 Merdeka beat him well over hurdles but it and O'muirceartigh ( pronounced O'MURRAY ART TIG) are far too short to be punting in a beginners Chase.
5pts e.w Patsy Hall 3.05 8/1

Theres plenty of pointers today on the Pt to Pt site http://www.irish-point-to-point.com/news.asp?key=3077
