Fridays Racing

Very dissapointing run from Jigalo never in the race just staying on when the race was over, not the jockeys fault its just the horse downed tools from an early stage, you would have needed a crystal Ball to name any of the first 4 in the race,
Kymandjen ran too good of a race with the leaders jumping the last, if it had a prep run it would have won but i wouldnt back it next time out either cos i think its been set up for a race in April. My apologies to anyone thats been following me this past month its been downhill most of the way but it will turn....... i know it will.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I keep promising you an Ante-Post bet for Cheltenham, well i will tell ye .....in a couple of weeks......the horse should be around the 100/1 - 200/1 mark, i see hes in the Ante-Post market on Betfair but i haven't made any enquires on what price he is in the shops, coz as soon as you go in and even ask about a horse Ante-post they will slash the price. The horse in question has never set foot on a racetrack but hes so far forward in training that he could go there with just the one run, its not entered for any race in the next couple of weeks but he is entered in the £50,000 Doncaster Spring sales Bumper at Newbury on March 3rd. If hes anything like the horse im getting reports about were gonna be rich come the end of Cheltenham , i could bullsh!t ye and say i cant give ye the name of the horse to protect the price for the owners .....now that would be bull cos i dont know the owners... they mightn't even gamble, its just that if i give you the name and you back it and its a non-runner you will lose whereas in a couple of weeks time nearly all the big firms will be betting non runner-no bet at Cheltenham so thats why i'll not tell ye to later on, i'll tell you it on the morning its due to run in its first race, i'll put the message up at 9.30am so as you'll have plenty of time to make it too the bookies or even bet it on Betfair, you dont need alot to make a lot if its around 100/1 i'll be having EURO 50;00 e.w on it and as you know that is a big bet for me. so hopefully all going well ye can get a couple of Grand out of Cheltenham.

Thursdays Racing

Jigalo 2.15 Gowran Park is the nap today, a winner on soft and good to soft and coming on the back of a very good 2nd to Luke Victor a couple of weeks after been brought down at Punchestown in November. Its a tough race but Jigalo is in on 10st-11lb a light enough weight and its an improving horse, if it stands up it wont be out of the first 4.
5pts e.w Jigalo 2.15 Gowran 4/1 if you can get it with Betfred & Sporting Exchange and its 7/2 everywhere else.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A long long shot in the Thyestes Chase....
Kymandjen 2.45 Gowran was beating a sht hd 2 years ago in this race by Numbersixvalverde and last year was only 13/2 for the race but Pulled Up tho Paul Nolan said before the race that Kymandjens preparation had not gone according to plan.
So hopefully if alls gone well this time with his preparation he might be good enough still to sneak a place at a big price
1pt e.w. Kymandjen 25/1 generally

Sundays Racing

The Pierse Hurdle at Lepoardstown is our next max bet, i know i could have picked alot easier races but theres a horse sitting down near the bottom of the H'cap thats just too good to miss.
Dolphin Bay whom on the flat was beaten by top class horses such as a 2nd beaten 3/4s of a length by Al Eile at Navan and a 4 length 4th to Jazz Messenger over a mile and a half at Naas. Dolphin has won on soft to heavy over hurdles at Punchestown over 2miles but its last run which is of most interest beaten a length and a half by View Mount Prince at level weights. Dolphin bay was running off 8lb higher following his win at Punchestown but in the Pierse hes 7lb better off with View Mount Prince and considering View Mount is only around 8/1 And Dolphin is 20/1 i thing the value is definitely in Dolphin Bay and a promising young jockey A.B.Joyce takes the mount. The reason im putting it up early is because im hoping some of ye have Paddy Power Accounts coz there paying 5 places and i think it'll run a big race so every place will count but hopefully it'll win for a very nice payday. If i fancy anything else i'll put it up in the forum on Sunday.
5pts e.w Dolphin Bay 20/1 Paddy Powers

Thursdays Racing

Amazing innit i wait all week for an Irish Meeting and end up having a nap running in Hereford.
I was on Pressgang last year at 150 Ante-post for the bumper at Cheltenham and only Hairy Molly's head stopped me from having my biggest payday ever on the nags, it only ran twice and it was on its first run that i spotted it that it had a bit of talent and amazingly it was on this date last year when i first seen him 11/1/06 and it could be Deja Vu with a stable mate of Pressgang. Fermat 4.00Hereford was thought as highly as Pressgang he was on target for a few bumpers early on in the season but had a setback he damaged his shins and a large splint so didnt see the racetrack till december at Wincanton where it took him an age to twig what he was there for he was well behind turning in and was staying on hand over fist and with an extra half furlong and the ground heavier it should play right into his hands if hes come on anyway atall from his Huntingdon race he'll be very hard to beat.

5pts e.w. Fermat 4.00 Hereford 9/2.

Saturday's racing

Foxhall Beauty 2.05 Cork is a lot better then her form shows, She's been well backed in her last 2 bumper races but failed to deliver been by Broken Hearted they come on to themself's over obstacles , its a moderate race Cobham is favorite but i think hes had alot of racing this season hes got the beating of Monocereos, Guiding Dream has a Squeak on its 2nd to CoolCashin but i think the best improver in the race will be Foxhall Beauty

1pts e.w. Foxhall Beauty 2.05 Cork 12/1

Thursdays racing

What a disaster that was to the start of the year, dont know why i get involved in the bandit racing, stick to what i know a little about the Irish Racing or the Jumps in England.....No matter things can only get better ............hopefully its onwards and upwards from here on.
Im gonna give one very quickly i had a small word for this one this morning but i aint going in to big, just a small e.w. intrest.
12.55 DesKelly Interiors, has a small e.w chance in this race it looks like one of those races were you to run it 6 times you'd have 6 different results. Tony Martin & Charlie Swan are represented in it and if the moneys down on either you'd have to follow it, Dessie Hughes is going for his 10th winner in the last 10 Irish Racing Days, its a very tricky race but Ados horse is quietly fancied to at least sneak a place.

1pt e.w Deskelly Interiors 12.55 7/1

WEDNESDAYS RACING

2007 and i thnk we'll start afresh i was gonna start a new blog but i cant be asked so we'll stay on with this one and start the year on a 0-00 figure.
So all the best to everyone whos following me and remember the scale is
5pts e.w is a Nap
3pts e.w is a shouldnt be out of the first 3
1pt e.w is it could be in the 1st 3 at a price
I try not too tip anything under 5/1 but if i do put anything up around or under 5/2 go and get a mortage out coz then were going for the jugular.

I'll try and put up a nice e.w. yankee at the weekend for Cheltenham but im waiting on word of 2 of the horses before i put them up i dont want us losing our money on horses that aint even gonna run.
So the best of luck to everyone in 2007 whatever ye may do......

ASH HIGHT PUNTER
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Im going for an e.w double, its an e.w double with the same jockey riding both horse's at 2 different meetings and both horses ran in the same race last time out.
Tom Queally rides Almizan 12.10Kempton who was beaten in a class 4 race last time out at Kempton by Salute, todays race is a class 5 and its a moderate race at that, if he runs his race Almizan cant be out off the 1st 3
Tom then heads for leafy Lingfield to ride Turn 'N Burn 3.15 who finished 2 lghts behind Allmizan but it was running well up to then always been there or there abouts at the finishes of its races but not been able to get its head in front but today there trying blinkers on it for the first time and if it has a positive effect then Turn 'N Burn wont be out of the 1st 3 either so we'll have a small e.w. double and 2 singles to start the year off on hopefully a winning note.
3pts e.w Almizan 12.10 Kempton
3pts e.w Turn 'N Burn 3.15 Lingfield
1pt e.w. double
