ANTE-POST RACING

This day next month we'll know the majority of the big race winners and hopefully everyones in front going into Friday, well here goes heres my tupence worth.

The Gold Cup Kauto Star is a class horse that there is no doubt about, but hes started to get into the habit of thinking hes invinceble jumping fences hes got it into his head now that he can plough thru fences and stay standing, Cheltenham will have no mercy for horses like that one mistake and hell be gone, thats why its going to be the safe option for me with a horse whos been around Cheltenham a few time and has never falling in his career plus hes got the advantage of been a Gold Cup winner. War Of Attrition hasnt been doing this season what he is capable of doing and thats beating good Horses easy, tho i think the last day against The Listener with the ground totally against him Conor seem not too hard on WOA and he still was staying on. At the moment the ground is completly against him but with it bound to start drying out the conditions will play into his hands bigtime. He is a Gold Cup winner and wether or not Kauto Star is standing or not he'll not beat WOA up the hill.

5pts e.w War Of Attrition 5/1

The Champion Hurdle
My banker of the Meeting isn't preforming atall atall but i still haven't giving up hope on Iktitaf, N.Meade said the horse was ill in the AIG and that'll do for me he'll get one more chance but theres a horse in it whom i know his former trainer said would be a better hurdler then the previous Champion Hurdle he trained. Michael Stoute says that Sublimity will be a Champion Hurdle winner wether this year or not is open to debate but whatever he does he'll improve. You can only be but impressed the way he travelled on the bit at navan and he was coming back after a lay-off, granted he didnt beat much but it was the way he quickened like a 5 furlong sprinter after the last that was astonishing.
Hes in against the big boys now but all reports are saying this horse has improved a stone since Navan and even Stoute was saying last week this horse can and will be the real deal. Hopefully he can run a big race and shows how good he can be. It'll be his current trainer John G Carrs biggest day but if hes placed i hope its behind Iktitaf whom beat Sublimity 12 lenghts at Punchestown.
3 pts e.w Iktitaf 18/1 W.H.
1pt e.w Sublimity 25/1 W.H.
